Robert Drummond

Partner, Lead Airbrush Artist and Designer, and Custom Paint Professional

Bobby is the heart and soul of Cutting Edge Illusions. He has over 20 years of experience with airbrushing, automotive paint and custom paint. His skills are among the very best in the country in every area of custom paint. He truly sets himself apart with his focus on uncompromised quality. Bobby has an eye for detail that few others possess and he is committed to ensure that every piece of work that leaves our facility is as close to perfection as physically possible. While he spends most of his time delivering world class work and leading the crew, he also helps with sketches, plotter work, client design calls and anything else that is necessary to get the job done. He is also an artist who enjoys expressing his creativity in a number of mediums including airbrush, oil paint on canvas, and sculpting. A jack of all trades, Bobby also enjoys fabrication and mechanics and has been known to build high performance machines as a hobby including race carts and trucks. Robert is happily married with four daughters. In his spare time, he likes to get out on his bike (generally on one wheel), race carts and RC cars, camp and spend as much time with his family as possible.

Eric Muller

Custom Painter, Fabrication, Clear Coat, Prep, Buff & Finish

Eric Muller is quite the multi tasker at Cutting Edge Illusions as he does almost all the buffing on the paint sets, quality checks the bodywork, welds, prep work, body work, primes the parts, sprays sealer, basecoat, and sprays kandy. Eric does custom fabrication and modification work including integrated lighting. This guy can lay clear coat down like no other, his consistency, glass smooth shine, fine atomization, cleanliness, and perfection in our proprietary clear coat process is unbelievable and enough to have our paint alone. Combine this with his equal power of buffing and you have a glass like finish flawless of anything and gloss enough to blend someone. He loves creating one-of-a-kind paint jobs at Cutting Edge Illusions and is considered a very valuable part of our team. Eric is very happily married. He spends his free time at the Keg and riding his quad at the coast. And never turns down a good old fashioned hoedown.

Dennis Harwell

Custom Painter and Graphic Layout Artist

Dennis Harwell has been in the custom painting business for ten years now and continues to impress our intense quality control system with his stunning attention to detail. He is an expert at hand layout for graphics and flames, airbrushing textures and effects, kandy spraying, blending, and all types of spraying. It’s nice to have his positive enthusiasm and outstanding communication skills as a part of our Cutting Edge Illusions team. Dennis likes to golf, race carts, fantasy sports, pitting for outlaw sprint carts and anything that involves spending time with his daughter and family. Dennis is the biggest Ducks fan in the shop.

Dan Mayhew

Fibergalss Specialist and Prep

Dan Mayhew specializes in manufacturing fiberglass body parts. Dan has many years of experience in fiberglass manufacturing and creates top of the line product that is both light and strong. He also supports our paint side of the business when he has time. He sandblasts, strips, sands, preps, and bodyworks all flaws found so that your parts are 100% ready for paint done right the first time. Dan’s unique outlook on life always adds color to the work day. Some of Dan's after-work and weekend activities include riding his quad and playing video games.

Jeremy Kruempel

Arist, Computer Graphic Artist & Utility Player

Jeremy is new to the team but he brings a lot of experience. Jeremy is a jack of all trades as he brings us 16 years of exerience creating art in a number of mediums. He has painted for all of those years working in oil and acrylics on canvas, body painting, and airbrushing. He has also worked in glass, metal, wood, and plaster and stone scuplting and photography. Jeremy does design work with Robert and handles most design consultations. He sketches and does all of our computer drafting and plotter work. Jeremy also helps with receiving, shipping, and customer support.

Laura Harris

Partner, Sales, Customer Relations

Laura handles most of our internet sales and believes that every customer is unique. She is committed to understanding the needs of each project and finding an approach that both fits the budget and fulfills the vision. When she can she loves the opportunity to meet our clients over the phone or in person and to learn more about them and their project. She also handles some of our customer support with the help of Jeremy and Solomon. Laura has two children of her own that she takes care of when she is not working with clients. A farm girl at heart, she enjoys gardening and getting outdoors whenever possible. She is between bikes right now but is looking forward to getting back out on two wheels.

Amber Drummond

Partner, Operations, Marketing

Abby wears many hats at Cutting Edge Illusions. She does many of the little things that keep the operations going from managing supplies to shipping and packing. Abby also works on many of our marketing activities. She develops copy for brochures and pamphlets, put together our dealer catalog, and helped develop our booth exhibit. She loves to get out to the bike rallies whenever she can. Outside of work, Abby is pursuing a degree at the local college and takes care of three daughters. Like Bobby, Abby races carts and enjoys anything outdoors.
