Downdraft Spray Booth
Most of our spraying tasks, including all clearcoat spraying tasks, are performed in our downdraft spray booth. Spray booths provide a controlled flow of dust-free air over freshly painted parts, reduce flashing time, raise paint surface temperature for faster baking, and slash cure times, all of which help to ensure cleaner paintwork.
The booth we use is the Cadillac of spray booths. It’s fully adjustable pressurized, it has bright and accurate simulated sunlight, temperature control, bake cycles, humidity control, and is extremely clean while spraying.
JE Illusions adheres to a strict spray booth maintenance schedule to guarantee consistent air exchanges and steady flow patterns of clean air through our spray booth. Consistent air exchanges are needed to remove paint overspray and steady flow patterns help provide a high quality finish.
Our spray booths are installed and inspected for local building and fire codes approval, including the specifications of the National Board of Fire Underwriters, as recommended by the 2000 National Fire Protection Association (NFPA33) requirements. Our spray booths are also maintained and operated within OSHA guidelines.
Our downdraft spray booth is equipped with observation windows. You are welcome to visit our shop and watch the magic happen as your parts are painted!
