Project Notes

Jerry came to Cutting Edge a little bit nervous about sending his parts all the way across the country for paint, but he really loved our stretch bags and rear fender and needed a little reassurance from Solomon to send his other parts our way.  Jerry is very active in the Rolling Thunder Group in Maryland and knew he wanted a bike that reflected his commitment to Vietnam Vets. Together we came up with a design that is both understated and very moving.

A black base with a metallic orange kandy over top began this job.  Murals followed to build the theme featuring the POW/MIA Logo, the Fallen Solier Emblem, a silouettte of The Three Servicemen Statue as well as silouettes of helicopters.  A kandy blend finished the paint off.

Cutting Edge Illusions bags and rear fender were also tied into the theme by integrating the brake and turns into the design.  Jerry's brake light is the POW/MIA logo while his turns are the Fallen Soldier emblems you see on his rear fender.  We are very proud to have helped Jerry with his tribute bike.
